Agriscience ltd in collaboration with OXFAM Palestine,Palestinian disaster risk reduction and insurance fund,and Risk Shield consultants conducted an 8 day training on agricultural loss assessment and adjustment for various crops and livestock value chains in Machakos and Meru counties of Kenya to 17 agronomists,insurers and development partners from Palestine.

Partcipants gained valuable insight into the workings of Area Yield Index Insurance and the role of various organisations across the value chain.
Among the organisations visited were Ministry of agriculture, Insurance companies-APA Insurance, Re-Insurance companies-Africa Re, Product designers-ACRE Africa, and Aggregators- Appollo Agriculture.
